Orbs in photos. I have to admit when we started out, like most new ghost hunters, we thought every orb and every streak in our photos was a sign of paranormal activity. We refused to believe that orbs were a common occurrence in digital photos. But as we gained experience, did some tests ourselves and really looked at our photos objectively, we realized we were wrong and have been removing most orb photos from this web site.

There are orbs that can be seen with the naked eye. I know this for a fact because I have seen them twice so far. Are they ghost orbs, are they energy? I don't know for sure what they are, no one does.

Many web sites show what they say are comparison photos of a dust orb and what they call a real spirit orb. I can't see much difference in what they show as a dust orb and what they show as a spirit orb.

So are we saying that orbs or streaks in photos cannot be paranormal? No, but our test showed us that many things can cause orbs in photos. Chances are greater that they are caused by tiny particles, bugs moisture etc.in the air and not the paranormal.
